Since the mid 1970's I have been working in the high technology electronics arena.  As a component of that experience, I have been at the forefront of many of the technologies that we take for granted today.  I don't claim to be the inventor of these technologies but I have been there and contributed in my way.  Among these products were, portable cellular telephones (they actually were at one time carried in briefcases!) laptop computers and various portable power products.  It was only natural for me the become ePRO certified and to incorporate technology in my work.  Click on the ePRO logo for more information on technology professionals.

Outlook Email with server-based spam filter

Communication is the heart of "getting it done!" Email is the clearest and simplest way to communicate and I can send everything from property listings to transaction documents to you by Email.  With powerful spam blockers I can get to what is important for you.  Because I am so visible, I can get over 100 pieces of unwanted Email every day.  My systems eliminate over 95% of this spam! (Ask me how you can have this too!)

Broadband cell phone with Internet access

When I'm waiting for the response to from the buyer or seller its good to know that I don't need to wait by a fax machine, phone or computer in order to get it as soon as it is sent.  I can get Email, faxes, Internet access and of course telephone calls right on my cell phone.

Notebook computer with docking station

I use that same computer at my home office, business office, on the road and when I'm in your home.  Any files that I need are always with me and ready for your use.  With my system I can seamlessly transition from point to point and can work as efficiently in one place or another. 

 

Broadband wireless Internet access Even though I can access the Internet on my cell phone, it is not practical to search for properties on it.  Because of that, I incorporate wireless bradband access with my notebook computer.  With this technology, I can get on the Internet just about any place including my car or a vacant property.  This can be a great advantage in a competitive market situation because we won't need to go find a computer or Starbucks to get the latest property information.

Online database tools

"Online" based tools for contact management and document generation can be accessed from any computer and keep files constantly secure and up to date.

Digital imaging

No RealtorŪ should be without a digital camera but having one and knowing how to use it are two different things.  I utilize two camera types for your advantage: First is a high resolution camera that I use to take quality photos of your property.  With this camera, I can upload as many as 12 photos of your property immediately when I put your house in the MLS. Next is a 1.3MP cell phone camera that I keep with me constantly.  When I preview properties for you, I can send you live updates while I'm there.  You can ask me for a better look at something and direct me remotely!

E-Fax and Laser Fax For sending faxes with signatures I utilize a high speed laser fax that can scan up to 20 pages a minute.  This insures that each page is crystal clear when sent and that there are no misfeeds or missing pages.  E-Fax converts all incoming faxes to PDF documents that are easily read by most computers.  I can store these files and distribute them to all parties in a matter of seconds without the typical distortion that happens when documents are received on traditional fax machines.
GPS - Global Positioning System Realtors no longer work in their back yard.  If that were the case clients would have to change Agents every time they decided to have a look someplace else. In the "Old Days" we used Thomas Brother's map books to find property addresses.  Driving a car and figuring out the best route to take at the same time was a challenge if not simply dangerous. Today I use an in-dash GPS system to plan the route and direct the way so I can concentrate on driving and what YOU have to say!

Mastering the various types of software available makes me even more efficient.  While many of these skills don't have a direct impact on YOU, because they permit me to work efficiently, the do permit me to have more TIME available for YOU!
